Dark tone sketckes

These are some sketches that I was doing to enhance my skills. I would do a new one each day when I had time, then paint the tones in Corel Painter. There actually ideas from one of my most favorite artist. I like to compare work sometimes, just to see how much I've developed. I would say it takes about 45min to an hour to draw and paint each one.

No back seats

Storyboards for the Smart Car commercial. The ad spot focus on different events of victims who are killed in their car, by someone who was in their back seat of the car. The Smart Car comes without back seats, so no worries! Very funny and humorous commercial!

This is the pencil to gray tone illustration. I haven't decided which program to use for the coloring. Its between Photoshop and Painter.

I decided to just try drawing and then painting a gray tone over the drawing to see what effect I get.

This will be the mark of my style for illustrating. After painting a gray tone over the drawings that has been scanned and reprinted, I will rescan and paint the color tones and effects in Photoshop and Paniter to give a realistic look and feel to my illustrations.
